“I got there around 9:30AM and stayed until 5:30PM. I had an absolute blast.
Met tons of amazing execs and writers. It was truly a great experience and you did a fabulous job orchestrating the event.
I’ve done many of these in the past but nothing at this level. Please keep me in mind for future summits.”
- Gwen Osborne, The Bubble Factory
“As a veteran writer, I have been repped by WM, ICM, Gersch, Justin Dardis, and other outstanding agents. I’ve won and placed in the top ten in Screenwriting Competitions with every script. And was mentored by Academy Award Winning Producers, heads of Studios, and great DP’s. This led to winning Best Director and Best Picture for my Directing debut in 2004 in top film festivals (LA, NY, and Vegas based.) After having several pilots produced, and making literally millions of dollars with writing options, sales, and assignments, I still go to Pitch Festivals to hone my skills in pitching, expand my network, make money, and learn. InkTip is in my opinion the best organized, fairest to writers, most educating, and invites the most producers truly there to get material. That’s why when Indie writing assignment clients ask me to pitch their finished scripts not just through my agents, but at pitch fests for or with them, I always say ‘Start with Inktip. It will train you properly and set the standards you need.’”
- Scott Morgan, Writer
“The summit was flawlessly organized. It was not the usual sterile series of short-pitches, but an environment where opportunities for networking between writers and producers arouse at each step. As development coordinator for 12 projects I have to say that InkTip works harder than most agents and managers to move the scripts and connect the right writer with the right producer.”
- Armando Saldanamora, Magic Elevator LLC
“The Pitch Summit that InkTip sponsors is another great source as well. I found the courses and the contacts were fantastic and helped improve my writing and marketing skills. I already decided to go to Pitch Summit 3 when the dates were recently announced.”
- Francis Veltri, Writer
“Pitch Summits have been a great way for me to get in front of the right people.”
– Mark Schnug, Writer
“I have found InkTip’s Pitch [& Networking Summit] to be tremendously helpful. The Pitch [& Networking Summit] provided face-to-face discussions with industry professionals and helped me determine what such folks were seeking specifically in screenplays.”
- Bret Kofford, Writer
“The [Pitch & Networking Summit] was a good experience and we met some good screenwriters. We’re planning on being at the next one.”
- Ryan Black, Grindstone Ent. | Lionsgate
“I had a fantastic time coaching three screenwriters last year at PNS 1. All three got multiple script requests and one screenwriter even had a producer calling her house later that month asking for an exclusive first-look agreement! I also worked at the event and got a chance to meet many of the talented and friendly writers and producers. It was a lot of hard work but a lot of fun!”
- Daniel Calvisi, Senior Story Analyst and author of “Story Maps: How to Write a GREAT Screenplay”
“This is amazing! You guys have gone above and beyond any other pitch event. From now on, we’re ONLY attending InkTip events! GREAT job!”
- Nancy Nyman, Writer
“The Pitch Summit was a great way to spend the day and we’re looking forward to the next one. Not only did we meet good screenwriters, but we also made new industry contacts–other producers, executives and agents.”
- Rebecca Brown, Stylopik
“I wanted to take this time to thank you all for the wonderful event today. I so enjoyed it, and I now have to get busy e-mailing 20 scripts, eight treatments, and 7 novel requests!”
- Sheila Jenca, Writer
“I had a blast at the summit… I attended some classes and learned a magnanimous amount of information and presented what I learned in my pitch sessions and I surprised myself. Prior to attending the sessions, I was expecting to simply walk away with a fun experience and a knowledge base for pitching. Those open doors led to all four of my completed projects to be requested multiple times… I was so blown away and left with such great confidence and renewal as a writer… InkTip is an oasis in an endless desert that allows grains of sand-like writers to be found.”
– Ismael Moreno, Writer
“I think the Pitch & Networking Summit is well worth my time. And think that InkTip has great opportunities to find quality material.”
- Scott vandiver, Vandiver Entertainment
“I really appreciated the opp you provided to make so many great contacts – from producers to other writers. It was worth the investment of time and money to come out to LA and be part of an inspirational weekend.”
- Leslie Amadio, Writer

- Sandra McClinton, Writer
“I had a considerably successful experience at the summit today and I very much want my work to be on the site should any of the industry reps seek out my synopsis or script. Thank you.”
- Kirk Mcknight, Writer
“Bravo on a fantastic event yesterday!”
- Christina Hamlett, Writer
“My writing partner and I attended today’s Pitch Summit. It was a truly great experience for us…We learned a lot about our scripts, and learned a great deal about what pitches worked well for us and what did not. Most of our pitch meetings went extremely well, which of course feels very good.m We will be sending out eight of our scripts to five companies/producers in the coming week. And sometimes it’s not about the one script or the one pitch, but a relationship. We have been given a very good opportunity to start brand new professional relationships, and that’s very valuable to us.”
- Karl Hirsch, Writer
“Apparently you accomplished the impossible. You kept the pros happy and the writers happy.”
- Thomas Fanslau, Writer

- Daniel Steiny, Writer
“I thought the Summit was great…I pitched to a bunch of nice people…I also made some unexpected contacts at breakfast and lunch…And I have five requests for scripts..Glad I went. And glad I sprung for the Studio Pass.”
- Will Hughes, Writer
“I would like to let all of the INKTIP STAFF KNOW that we (true) Screenwriters who have suffered and struggled, ABSOLUTELY
LOVE YOU ALL. THE INKTIP PITCH SUMMIT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD !!!
I WANT TO THANK
Jerrol – for being so hands on from conceptualizing the event, to teaching, to pointing out where the bathrooms were.
Jared – for being a live wire of energy and a force to be reckoned with.
Gato – for the suit and sunglasses indoors, plus being the executive face to the event.
Chris – for being a sweetheart
And all the others staffers who I was too busy running past to a pitch table with my two and a half liter big gulp that I could not or did not get their name. (Hm, script idea – Batman and Big Cup!)
Not only did I have tons of fun, laugh with fellow dreamers as myself, pitch and WOW the Producers, get to Table 1 (LionsGate,) but I met and created a few (potential) love connections – hey look, I let it all hang out – okay.
To a man who could easily have been a “to-himself Producer,” Jerrol has become both a beacon and a construction worker who is paving the way for people like myself to meet with and bridge my concepts and ideas to real decision makers in the industry.
I LOVE YOU GUYS – When I MAKE IT, YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO THE USUAL SWANK, HIGH OCTANE HOLLYWOOD POOL PARTY!!!!!
P.S. If I had missed this event, I would have missed my life!”
“I just wanted to say thank you for such a lovely event and all the hard work that you put into it! Seriously it was one of most gratifying experiences that I have been to. I went to the one in July and didn’t meet nearly as many producers as I did at this one!”
- Andrea Prescott, Writer
“Thank you for a great summit. Lorraine Flett and I are enthusiastic about the response to our Rom-Com script, ‘It’s Not Always What It Seems.’”
- Donna Bellorado, Writer
“Thanks for today – we had an amazing day… ”
- Mark Ryland, Writer
“InkTip [Pitch] Summit over the 9/25 weekend was tremendous. Not only did I enjoy the classes and the pitch session over the weekend, the positive experience carried over to my Monday. And it seems like I have so much more energy this week because of the great weekend. One of things that made this summit special was the personal attention we got. And there were a lot of us. Jared on Saturday evening, patiently went over the details of the pitch session for more than 2 hrs. I cannot thank him enough. He gave us some great tips and even mentioned companies that may be a good fit for us. This eased my nerves considerably. And on Sunday, I was in queue for a company which I found out had left already. Tanya took me over to another producer’s desk who had some time. We had a great conversation about each other’s background. This was a considerate thing for her to do especially when she was so busy already. And every InkTip personnel (I didn’t get the names of a few others who helped me) showed the same patience and attention. This definitely made the summit a unique experience.”
– Shiva Ramanathan, Writer
“I can say that I got way more for my investment with Ink Tip than with any other industry communication vehicle. Things went into higher gear after I attended the Pitch Fest. The education from the pros came in handy for the pitch it self. Had over 10 production companies request a copy of the script which I thought was great return on my investment. No way would I have gotten that kind of response from just writing query letters.”
- Michael Vernon, Writer
“I had such a great time at the last one. I still keep in touch with writers and [producers] I met. I will definitely see you next year.”
- Kelli Chillson, Writer
“Once again, thanks for putting this spectacular event together. I really had a blast. And I will most assuredly be at the next summit!”
- Michael Smith, Writer
